Neal Checkoway- Producer/Writer

A graduate of Tufts University, Neal began his career as a teacher of English and journalism. He left teaching in the early 80’s and first as a writer then as a marketer and executive, helped launch personal computers and related software and technology in the US.  Later, as president and CEO of a San Francisco-based travel technology company, Neal turned his idea for an online travel information service into Travelocity, which was eventually sold to its present owner, SABRE. Waiting for Hockney is his first foray into filmmaking.  Neal and his wife live near Guadalajara, Mexico.
